Industry-leading, world-class manufacturing facilities

Our 3 manufacturing facilities in China, located in Shanghai and Zhongshan, produce and deliver elevators, escalators and moving walks for our customers in China and in the rest of the world.

As a part of TK Elevator's global production network, our modern workshops make the best use of advanced technology and strong manufacturing know-how from Germany.

In house laboratories to ensure quality.

Because quality matters, strict quality management and control of our products is carried out throughout the whole production line.

From spare parts to the complete system, our 125 testing equipment, capable of carrying out 77 different tests, ensures the quality and reliability of our designs and different components we use.


Our testing capabilities include:

  • metallurgical testing,
  • subsystems and components,
  • spare parts reliability,
  • environmental,
  • electromagnetic compatibility,
  • failure analysis.


Our in-house laboratory has been certified by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and provide ILAC-MRA recognized test reports.

An industry’s leading testing tower

In China, our test towers allow us to make sure our product quality and innovations reach global standards.

Rising 248m high above Zhongshan, our new elevator test tower will complement our existing tower in Shanghai to test and develop existing and new products.

Our escalator testing tower, located in Zhongshan is as high as 35 meters, the highest testing tower in the escalator industry in southern China.
